Say hello to our native gardenia! A small, sweet-smelling flower. Nāʻū or nānū are endemic to O‘ahu, Maui, Moloka‘i, Lāna‘i, and Hawaiʻi island. This sticker is about the size of an actual pua nāʻū. Gardenia brighamii are endangered and one of the rarest gardenia left in the wild. There are only a few wild nāʻū on Lānaʻi and one remaining on Oʻahu. Fortunately, a number of our botanical gardens and plant nurseries have nāʻū for you to admire and grow yourself.
